On Friday, my Grandma turned 65. After spending her first 19 years learning from Bubbe, she has spent the last 46 years as the CEO and Managing Partner of a very successful family business -- the business of my family.
I got to see all my aunts, uncles, and cousins at a big party last night. I had a lot of fun but I didn't get to make my toast. So, here it is.
We went to the AMNH and checked out the dinosaurs. We stopped and saw as many of them as we could that were in Joshua's bedtime book, "How Do Dinosaurs Say Good Night?"
Joshua went back to the Central Park Zoo. He checked out the penguins for a little while. Then we went over to the rainforest - a "habitat" that Joshua can tell you about. And, then, it was off to the petting zoo in the childrens' section. Since Mommy was at work, Joshua could get as close to the animals as he wanted to.
